There is soon coming a time when no geese will be allowed to stay at PP. Any who will be there next June will be rouded up and gassed. Apparently, it seems many goslings were also gassed in 2009. Community needs to be more awake on what's going on in park. Very glad you are monitoring and reporting on it now. This is a very important thing you are doing. Hope your husband is doing better.
My life in 1200 words? Can it be done? Born in Brooklyn, lived in N.J., Cranston R.I, moved to Maplewood, N.J. at 10. Graduated Columbia H.S. in 1965, Temple U. in 1969, majoring in Anthropology. Great major, but I was ready for LIFE!!! Worked as a social worker, did some drugs, lived cheap, saved money, went to Woodstock. Spent 1971 hitching around Europe and the Middle East with a backpack, doing occasional odd jobs, seeing some of the world. Meanwhile, parents sold the house and left Maplewood for a coop in Manhattan. Came back, stayed with them for a short while, moved to Brooklyn with some fellow semi-hippies. Parents got divorced. Worked at Barclays Bank. Met this really cute English guy called "Ber" whom they sent over to install the new computer program. We got together. Went to England in 1973.
