Good News, Bad News

It was really quite beautiful in the park this morning, with the sun just trying to get through the morning mist.

The good news is that the signs around the trees seem to be working. Fewer piles of charcoal around the trees. The bad news is that the piles of charcoal are now around the lake, in the lake, anywhere but in the bins. Treating the lake like a dump is just not a good idea. How about: MORE BINS?????

And some fun-loving people thought it would be a kick to knock over the latrines. Ha ha ha. Hope no one was inside. This actually happened to someone I know, way back when I was at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival. Men came in at night to clean the latrines. They knocked over one with someone inside. Pretty gross. The only silver lining was that they took her somewhere for a hot shower (This was in the ice cold only shower days.)...I must add that the latrines were upright again when we came back an hour later. But what fun is that story?
